I was on a short time frame to find a house and had to stay within a budget. Also, I only had a few days that I was available to physically look at various properties. I was first introduced to Nancy over the phone where she asked me questions about what I was looking for, budget, location, etc. - all of the things you would expect an agent to ask. What I didn’t expect was the personalized attention that I received. Nancy made me feel like I was her only client, which I knew could not be the case. Because I was unable to be physically present for more than a couple of days, the amount of personal homework, attention to detail, research and personal property visits on my behalf was impressive. She sent me large amounts of property listings that had been vetted according to my requests and preferences. She worked well before and after “normal” business hours to meet my time frames and prepare for my onsite visit when we viewed properties together, having previously made appointments. Nancy personally picked me up and drove me to the many different locations, taking copious notes of my comments, preferences, and feedback, all the time getting to know me personally and customizing my home-buying experience. She was knowledgeable about communities, services, and schools and could make recommendations and provide meaningful feedback on home-buying issues. She made me feel comfortable and confident in what can usually be a stressful undertaking. Nancy made a comment to the effect that, “I see myself as a matchmaker. I get my happiness from connecting people to a place they can call home.” That really resonated with me. I wasn’t just looking for a place to live, I wanted to find a place that I could call home. She made it personal. Nancy came to know me, and she found me a place that I now call home. I can’t thank her enough. If and when I go to sell my home, there is no question I will have Nancy do it. I have every confidence and trust that she is looking out for my best interest and will help me in every way possible. Even after the purchase of my home, she offered to help me with whatever needs I may have or questions that may arise. And, I know she will. That completely impressed me. I do not know what metrics LIV Sotheby uses to rate employees, i.e. dollar sales, and contracts closed, but I hope one of the metrics the company values is customer satisfaction.
